The search for consistent uncrowded surf is what brought us to the Central Coast of Nicaragua. Referred to as the Central Pacific region the surf breaks in this area not as well known as some breaks in Nicaragua. However these lesser known venues can produce equally impressive surf with a fraction of the crowds...if any. The main surf breaks are Punta San Diego (Meat Grinders) a somewhat well known left reef break, Asuchillo an A frame producing beach break, Chigga's a right point break, Playa San Diego, Los Cardones (Ranchos) and more.
